The 17 year old New Zealander will move from MP Motorsport to Hitech Grand Prix for a second stab at the FIA Formula 3 Championship in 2020. While it's unlikely that Lawson will find himself in a position to challenge for the title, a top three position with some wins along the way should be possible.

ARMSTRONG moves to ART GRAND PRIX

Marcus Armstrong will be joining ART Grand Prix for the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2020.

The French squad has a rich history in GP2 and more recently F2, having won the driver's crown on six occasions with Rosberg (2005), Hamilton (2006), Hulkenburg (2009), Vandoorne (2015), Russell (2018) and finally reigning champion Nyck de Vries (2019).

The Ferrari Academy has five drivers in Formula 2 for 2020, so the New Zealander will have his work cutout for him if he is to make the next step up to Alfa Romeo Racing in Formula One and then ultimately on to Scuderia Ferrari.
