STANAWAY PULLS OUT of FINAL

Richie Stanaway has withdrawn from the Grand Prix Shootout after being advised that the obligatory management contract from Shootout organiser David Fleming was not in his best interest. Stanaway was due to take on nine other finalists at Pembury in the UK for the chance to drive in Formula BMW Europe next year. Source: New Zealand Herald
